Dr. D. Allen Rose Shamini, an alumna of JIM, has three years of teaching experience as an assistant professor at JIM. She worked as a research associate during 2018–2019 at JIM. She did her doctoral research in the area of labour welfare at Bharathidasan University, Trichy. She has coordinated many conferences, management, and cultural events. She has offered many sessions in management development programmes for school teachers, school students, and Sri Lankan refugees. She trains students on communicative competence. Her areas of teaching include the fundamentals of business organizations, managerial economics, human resource management, performance and compensation management, HR analytics, talent acquisition, career management, team management, and industrial relations. She has published research papers in UGC and ABDC journals. Presently, she administers faculty development programmes (FDP’s), business simulations and mentoring..
